A Seminar on Science and Philosophy of Healing is to be held at Gujarat Vidyapith, Ahmedabad on October 1 & 2, 2005, under the joint auspices of Gujarat Vidyapith, Gandhi Peace Foundation and Universal Healing Charitable Trust. The seminar assumes a great topical significance as this year has been declared as International year of Physics by United Nations.

The Universal Healing Program started by cardiologist Dr. Ramesh I. Kapadia at Ahmedabad on Gandhi Jayanti, October 2, 1991, is an in-depth stress management program to increase spiritual strength (ISMISS). Along with conventional management it helps to deal with the patient as a whole - mind, body and spirit.

For the last fourteen years, while practicing the Universal Healing Program for coronary artery disease, we have discovered the Science of Consciousness. The Science of Consciousness is YOGA. Simple practice of Shavasana and Meditation, as taught in the program, has shown a great potential for development of Consciousness, not only to heal the coronary arteries or other ailments but also to lead a life full of Health and Bliss.

Dr. Solomon Victor is one of India's scientific cardiac surgeons responsible for many innovations in the field. He is unique in that he is also a qualified cardiologist himself. He will talk on GOD IN HEALING.

Dr. Larry Dossey, a seminal thinker on Mind Body medicine, is a great admirer of UHP.
